KALEA Lifts has been started in sweden in 1898 at Västra Frölunda, Göteborg, and they started with elevators pretty early. Kalea is one of few brands in sweden that imports generic parts from germany: Controllers, Buttons, Machinery etc. In the end of the 70´s KALEA started to make platforms lift, and this was so sucessful so they ended up to only make platforms lifts today.
Today, KALEA is now a part of the Cibes Lifts group for handicapped service, and amog the others in the groups, they make pretty mutch the same products.
